GENERAL

The Africa Focus for Entrepreneurship and Economic Development Initiative.

Africa Focus for Entrepreneurship and Economic Development initiative (AFEEDi) is a non-profit legally registered in Nigeria, dedicated to the sustainability and development of peace and prosperity in Africa.

We are a think tank concerned by the increasing constraints and regulations on doing business in Africa and therefore promoting pro-development, pro-market ideas in academia, media and public policy. These ideas have created peace, prosperity and social progress for nations that adopted them

The AFEEDI’s multi-faceted approach offers various keys to understanding what are the forgotten truths in need of great rediscovery and measure the progress made on implementing them and working with society to find innovative solutions to the identified challenges.

Concerned by the increasing constraints and regulations on doing business in Africa, AFEEDi strongly believes in the need to move public opinion to address the growing concern about free trade and economic freedom via research reports, education, advocacy, empowerment programs, events and illustrative videos that will sensitize the public while moving the Overton window towards a freer society.

Our theory of change is based on the conviction that providing entrepreneurs and leaders with the long-term empowerment support that they need to improve research quality, free trade and economic performance will in turn enable them to play a more effective role in policy debates, training, and providing policymakers, NGOs and the media with the evidence needed to develop sound social and economic policies.

AFEEDi was founded on the basis of Core Principles:
  • Peace
  • Prosperity
  • Ease of Doing Business

  • Quality Education

  • Social Nature of the Person
